I have three cancer survivors in my family and I’m grateful they’re alive but I pray and hope that in my lifetime people won’t have to feel lucky that they survived. I hope that one day cancer won’t automatically make us think of death. Cancer touches everyone, no one is unscathed and if I can do even the smallest part to help push towards a cure, then I will. There’s so many people asking for help these days it can be hard to decide where to put our money but cancer doesn’t care if you’re rich or poor, young or old, and there is an end in sight.
